A 12-week randomized, placebo-controlled trial of the extract at 200 mg a day.
Total testosterone was already significantly higher than placebo, and stayed ahead at weeks 8 and 12.
Average total testosterone rose from 200.5 to 225 ng/dL with no hormones injected, while placebo slipped 2.8% (183 to 177.9). Fatigue and ageing-male symptom scores also improved versus placebo.
